Child Watch/Playroom (ages 2 mos. – 11 yrs)

The Playroom is open:
– Monday through Friday mornings from 8:30 — 12:30 PM                                                                                                                                                                          *Saturday mornings from 8:30 – 12:30 PM  ( Closed April 19th for Easter )
– Monday through Thursday evenings 4:30 — 7:30pm.

The ages are 2 Months old through 11 Years old.

Parent/Guardian will be required to come into the playroom and sign their child(ren) in. If a playroom staff person needs to have a child picked up for any reason during their time, the parent will be contacted. Staff can change diapers and give bottles. For toddlers who are NOT potty trained a pull up or diaper is required. Staff cannot potty train or supervise a toddler on the toilet. Older children are allowed a sippy cup but cannot consume snacks while in the playroom.

ATTENTION: Enrollment for the 2025 – 2026 school year opens to the public June 30th. We are adding a site at Churchville Elementary!! And will also have Staunton Elementary Schools, Wilson and Clymore Elementary sites. 

We serve elementary students from Staunton City Schools, Wilson Elementary, Clymore Elementary and now Churchville Elementary. We offer a warm, caring environment where our children have the opportunity to play with school friends and make new ones. This state-licensed program is directed by an experienced leadership team offering homework assistance, healthy snacks, sports (inside and outdoor), arts and crafts, games, and swimming. Space is limited. Registration is ongoing as space allows. Staunton City Schools provide transportation at dismissal.

AFTERSCHOOL TEEN CENTER 

Our teen center is a safe space for middle school and high school students ages 11 – 14 to come to afterschool. Students must be a member in order to utilize the teen center, there is no additional registration process required. Staff are present to supervise students. Staunton City Schools provide transportation at dismissal.

Rising kindergartners ( must be 5 YO ) – rising 5th graders. Children who are rising 6th graders will not be permitted to attend the elementary camp, but CAN attend Teen Camp. Check the Teen Camp section for more info.

Fees for all sites: Please note there is a 10% sibling discount
Members: $200 per week ( Only the child needs to be a member to get the member rate )
Non-members: $225 per week

Registration fee: $20

The price includes swimming and field trips.
