Child Care Programs

Safe, nurturing care that supports youth development and gives families peace of mind year-round.

Childcare is Central to our Mission

At the Staunton–Augusta Family YMCA, child care is more than supervision — it’s a place where children learn, grow, and feel like they belong. From Pre-K to school-aged youth, our programs are built around safety, character development, and fun. Our trained staff create a welcoming environment where every child is known, encouraged, and supported.

More Than Just Care

Everything we do at the Y is rooted in our mission to strengthen spirit, mind, and body for all. In our child care programs, that means helping children build confidence, character, and healthy relationships. Through structured activities, play, and positive role models, we create experiences that help kids thrive — in school, at home, and in our community.
